I am a Doctoral candidate of Operations and Business Analytics (OBA) at the Lundquist College of Business, University of Oregon (UO), and expect to complete my Ph.D. by August 2022.
My research interests lie primarily in the area of supply chain, healthcare operations, and business analytics. I am also interested and mainly use the methodologies of mathematical programming, machine learning, multi-objective optimization, and multi-criteria decision making in my research.
I have an excellent record of teaching both in-person and online classes. Prior to joining the University of Oregon, I was a full-time lecturer in the Department of Industrial Engineering (IE) at Bu-Ali Sina University, where I taught eight courses in the domains of Business Analytics and IE. Furthermore, I have taught four undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Oregon as a sole instructor in the last four years. This year (2020-2021) I earned the Lundquist College’s prestigious teaching award for Ph.D. students, Robin & Roger Best Teaching Award, which goes only to one doctoral student each year.
